Hormone Therapy Specialty
The Hormone Therapy Specialty (HTS) is the official fellowship in hormone therapy for physicians of the International Hormone Society. The HTS is the most advanced and complete educational program in hormone therapy of the IHS.
What is assessed?
The HTS assesses a physician’s extensive theoretical knowledge and practical know-how in hormone therapy. Obtaining the HTS diploma is a major step in becoming an expert in a vast area of hormone therapies, much more than the traditional basic diabetes-thyroid endocrinology. It contains the information of the AHTC (Advanced hormone therapy certificate), enriched by additional and more extensive information with a great focus on practical workshops.
Who can acquire this exam?
Physicians of all medical disciplines who want to certify their improving skills in hormone therapy. Other health-professionals may apply (depending on their area of expertise) upon acceptance from the scientific committee. Kindly join a CV and an explanation of your approach for approval.

More details on the examination
The final examination is a question-and-answer questionnaire, which can be taken online, whenever you wish. The maximum time to complete the examination is 2h30 and the exam is composed of 126 questions. A minimum score of 60% is required to successfully pass the examination.
