Dr. Thierry Hertoghe practices reversing aging and longevity medicine through bioidentical hormone and nutritional therapies. He represents the fourth consecutive generation of physicians specialized in the field of hormone therapy. He is an influencer and pioneer for scientific research, health professionals, and patients worldwide.
He founded the Hertoghe Medical School to share and spread his knowledge with colleagues worldwide. Speaker at over 200 major conferences across 33 different countries, he has also authored more than 23 books and handouts available in up to 11 languages, producing works that have become references in the sector. Through his interactive and online training programs, he can proudly count nearly 5,000 students enrolled in his courses, and over 530 doctors in 53 countries across all five continents have successfully graduated.
He also works at the Hertoghe Clinic in Brussels alongside four other doctors, who collectively care for an average of 1,700 patients per year, resulting in approximately 2,600 consultations annually. The aim of these consultations is to treat illnesses while also optimizing the health of each patient, with a focus on delaying and even reversing the aging process.
A pioneer in various medical matters, Dr. Thierry Hertoghe is one of the scientists supporting the idea that aging is mainly due to the progressive appearance of hormone deficiencies aggravated by nutritional deficiencies and a poor lifestyle. Through rectifying hormone imbalances and addressing other crucial factors, coupled with personalized treatment approaches tailored to each patient, he has achieved remarkable success in medical therapies, often surpassing patients’ expectations. Ensuring patient safety throughout the treatment process is a major concern for him, implying a strict and regular medical follow-up.
Dr. Thierry Hertoghe has gained extensive expertise in medical institutions, both as an ancient member of a big medical council of Belgium and as an active participant in various commissions in the Belgian healthcare system, thereby representing Belgium’s major medical union. He regularly functions as an expert in cases of medical controversy in which physicians face prosecution for improper practice charges related to the use of hormone replacement therapy, nutritional therapies, or other preventive and anti-aging medical therapies and diagnostics.
Supported by a large scientific database and thanks to his personal experience in the field of such medical therapies, both in the medical practice and as a teacher, Dr. Thierry Hertoghe has often been able to redress situations in which evidence-based medicine had been replaced by scientific prejudice.
