The International Hormone Society stresses the importance of bio-identical hormone therapy and to ensure the access of physicians and patients to to personalized compounded hormone therapies. It warns against the potential adverse consequences on the health of many patients of the proposals of other societies that desire major restrictions in the use of bio-identical hormones.
